Chest & Breast Wellness
Supporting Your Body Through Every Stage

Personalized massage, mindfulness, and movement to support comfort, mobility, and connection with your body through every stage.

Whether you’re seeking everyday wellness, preparing for surgery, or navigating recovery, care begins with your needs and comfort.

Three ways this care can support you

Everyday Wellness

Focused care for chest and breast comfort, surrounding muscle tension, relaxation, and body awareness.

You don’t need to be preparing for or recovering from surgery to seek chest and breast wellness care. Sessions can focus on tension in the chest and surrounding upper body, comfortable movement, relaxation, or becoming more aware of how you hold stress in your body. Depending on your goals, care may include the chest, shoulders, neck, ribs, upper back, and breast area. Together, we’ll decide which areas and approaches feel right for you.

Preparing for Surgery

Personalized support as you prepare for top surgery, mastectomy, breast reduction, or another chest or breast procedure.

Preparing for surgery can bring questions, emotions, and changes to your routine. Sessions offer space to discuss your comfort needs, address existing muscle tension, and explore breathing, mindfulness, and gentle movement. Care is personalized for people preparing for gender-affirming top surgery, mastectomy, breast reduction, and other chest or breast surgeries within my training. Your planned procedure and your surgical team’s instructions help guide the approach.

Recovery & Scar Care

Care adapted to your stage of healing, with attention to comfort, movement, surrounding tension, and scar-related tightness.

After surgery, your comfort, energy, sensation, and movement may feel different. Sessions are adapted to your stage of healing and your surgical team’s guidance. Depending on your needs and readiness, care may focus on surrounding muscle tension, comfortable movement, body awareness, or scar-related tightness. Scar work is introduced only when appropriate. We’ll discuss your procedure, healing progress, and any medical clearance needed before beginning.

Who this care is for

Care is available to people of all genders

  • People experiencing chest, breast, or surrounding upper body tension.

  • People preparing for or recovering from top surgery, mastectomy, breast reduction or lumpectomy.

  • People seeking support with comfort, movement, and reconnecting with their bodies after surgery.

Consent and what to expect

Your Comfort. Your Choices.

We begin by discussing your goals, health history, and comfort with touch. Before treatment, we’ll agree on the areas to address, positioning, and draping.

Direct breast massage is optional. Sessions can focus entirely on surrounding areas, and you can decline any technique, request adjustments, take a break, or stop at any time. You never need to explain or justify a boundary.

Your consent is ongoing. Agreeing to something at the start doesn’t mean you have to continue if your comfort changes.

  • Talk: Share your needs, questions, and preferences.

  • Choose: Agree on the focus and approach together.

  • Receive care: Settle in with check-ins and adjustments guided by your comfort throughout the session.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have had surgery to book?

No. Chest and breast wellness massage is also available for everyday comfort, muscle tension, relaxation, and body awareness. Your session is tailored to your needs, whether surgery is part of your experience or not.

Can I schedule before surgery?

Yes. A session before surgery can focus on relaxation, existing muscle tension, breathing, and body awareness. We can also discuss your comfort preferences and questions about future massage care. Your surgeon’s instructions will guide any restrictions.

What if I have changes in sensation or feel nervous about touch?

You’re welcome to share any numbness, sensitivity, discomfort, or concerns before or during your session. We can adjust pressure, positioning, and the areas addressed, or avoid an area entirely. You don’t have to push through discomfort or explain personal experiences to set a boundary.

Does a session have to include direct chest/breast massage?

No. We can focus on surrounding areas such as your chest muscles, shoulders, neck, ribs, and upper back. Direct breast massage is always optional and requires your informed consent. You can change your mind at any time.

When can I receive massage after surgery?

There isn’t one timeline that fits everyone. The timing depends on your procedure, healing progress, any complications, and your surgical team’s recommendations. Massage around surrounding areas and direct work near a surgical site may begin at different stages. Please reach out before booking so we can discuss your situation.

Is this service available to people of all genders?

Yes. Chest and breast wellness care is available to people of all genders, including those preparing for or recovering from gender-affirming top surgery. Your name, pronouns, and preferred words for your body will be respected.

What should I wear, and how does draping work?

Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. Before your session, we’ll discuss the areas you would like addressed, clothing options, and how draping will be used to protect your privacy. You’ll undress only to your comfort level, and we’ll agree on any adjustments before they happen.

Do I need clearance from my surgical team?

Clearance may be needed following surgery or during ongoing medical treatment. We’ll review your health history and your care team’s restrictions before scheduling or beginning treatment. If clearance is needed, I’ll explain what information to request.

What if I’m unsure whether this service is right for me?

You don’t need to know exactly what you need before reaching out. Schedule a consultation so we can discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether this care is a good fit. If another type of care would better meet your needs, we can discuss that, too.
