MEET THE TEAM!

Hi! I'm Jes (she/her), founder of Beaverton Advanced Therapeutics. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Yoga Instructor and Auto Collision Specialist.

As a teenager I started to have unknown episodes that mimic a stroke (today it is known as a rare type of migraine called hemiplegic migraines). I would get these multiple times a month. So much so doctors were talking about putting me on disability in my early twenties. After doing everything the doctors recommended (diet change, various medications and therapies) I learned about Medical Massage. This was the game changer for me and why I got into massage therapy! In 2005 I attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy. Afterwards I opened up my private practice and have also worked in a variety of settings including, chiropractic, fitness, bereavement, and hospice. Throughout my years of practice, I have served thousands of people by providing long-lasting relief from migraines, headaches, whiplash, neck, shoulder, upper back pain, stress, and anxiety due to injury, trauma and/or grief I am excited to bring my expert skills and knowledge to the Pacific NorthWest to help even more people find relief from pain and stress. I look forward to connecting with you and working together soon! Jes

Hi, I’m Lisa! I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and graduate of East West College of Healing Arts in Portland. My massage style blends the soothing flow of Swedish with the grounding techniques of Tuina, creating sessions that are both deeply relaxing and restorative.

My first memories of massage go back to my teenage years, when my mom would massage my sore muscles after basketball games. Later, I had the privilege of supporting my own daughter’s recovery from basketball injuries, which deepened my appreciation for being part of the healing process. As I work with clients, one of my main goals is to be fully present and to come home to my own body, with the hope that my clients feel the same. I believe we all benefit from taking a break from our busy minds and schedules to check in with our bodies, to listen, and to re-balance. I strive to create a space where this can happen, working from the perspective that when the mind is more at peace, the body can follow. Outside the studio, I love spending time with my dogs on trails and in parks, traveling, reading, and being with family.
