After years of study and training with multiple TCM and Cupping practitioners I have developed NeuroDynamic Cupping Therapy or NDCT for short. NDCT is a highly-specialized form of manual therapy that corrects pain and dysfunction by treating trigger points, muscle adhesion's, and fascial patterns utilizing silicone cupping therapy.
About the Course...
NeuroDynamic Cupping Therapy Face & Body: Basics course is a 1 day intensive where you will be introduce to traditional and modern day cupping therapy. Cupping therapy is a great addition to any massage therapist's list of services! After this class you can dive right in and start using these skills right away. All you need to bring is a sheet set, your oil/cream/lotion (oil and cream tend to glide best), and your passion to learn. I supply everything else.
You will learn:
Theory & history of cupping therapy
Different types of cupping therapy and cupping equipment
Benefits and contraindications to cupping therapy
How to manipulate and move the cups for soft tissue work
How to control resistance for a comfortable application of the massage cups
Specific techniques for gentle and deep releases to relieve muscle tension and pain
How to work with the lymphatic circulation
How to use static placement to enhance soft tissue work
How to implement dynamic cupping to not leave marks on clients
How to integrate cupping massage work with manual soft tissue work
High level disinfecting protocols
You Will Receive: class manual, a large medical grade silicone cup set that includes: two (2) sets of body cups & one (1) set of facial cups, technique demonstrations, hands on practice, course evaluation, certificate of achievement upon completion with 8 CEU's, and access to the private FaceBook group for continued support.
